This September, your support can help keep our towels clean, sanitized, and ready for whatever rescue comes through the door.

But we've discovered a bit of a problem: the sheer volume of laundry we create is simply too much for our current washers and dryers. They're not built to handle the constant workload, even when purchased new and are branded Heavy Duty. Unfortunately they are not durable and constant breakdowns have become a regular challenge. 

So, for now, our staff has to make regular hauls to the laundromat.  

And while a bunch of quarters gets those machines running, the real cost goes beyond the laundry. There are additional transportation expenses, staff offsite time and travel time, and valuable time that could otherwise be spent caring for animals at the rescue. 

It's one more example of how the everyday needs of rescue add up—and one more place where your support makes a difference.
